When to replace O2 sensor

I recently completed severe service preventive maintenance on my Monty.

Should the O2 sensor be changed in preventive maint? My MPG have decreased, but i put larger tires on.

Of course, the owners manual states every 100,000 miles.

Thanks in advance..........

On my 1990 SWB the O2 sensor was throwing a code so I replaced it. It had no effect on the drive-ability of the rig.

May be a good idea to replace if the threads aren't seized yet. This way you can ensure you use the appropriate anti-seize compound during the re-assembly process. At a minimum, I'd remove the old sensor and re-apply new anti-seize to it's threads then re-install it.
