Which aftermarket rear bumper for 2009-20012 Ram 1500

Needing to upgrade, and wanted to get the hivemind's thoughts. Making my own not in the picture. Open to any fabricators who can ship freight as well.

Not needing any swing out or tire mounting capability.

Went with the Ranchhand Sport. You guys have expensive tastes! But thanks for getting me onto the right path.

Hey if you don't mind spending the money, look into addictive desert designs. Looks great lighter weight, and pretty strong. Or look into the KORE rear bumper. Both also provide great clearance.

This is the ADD bumper

jpop, there doesn't seem to be any place to use a Hi-Lift on that bumper. Which is my main reason to get an aftermarket bumper.

Hi Falfrenzy, I'm not sure we can use a hi-lift jack on the ranch hand rear bumpers, at least that I am aware.

I think he means how that ranch rear bumper has slots in the side that a hilift could fit into, making it a more secure lift.

Yea, I got that part, only thing is that those slots are just foot wells for helping climb up, I have that bumper on my truck as well, no reinforcement to actually lift the truck up. So only making that statement to ensure he doesn't actually try to lift the truck up from those slots, and actually may end up bending up that bumper.

Kylevd23, I don't intend to do it with regularity. I have lifted the front of the truck up by jacking on the Ranchhand front bumper, and it is a lot heavier than the rear end.

I'm sorry, but that is a seriously hideous rear bumper. Something about a 70's style bumper on a new truck......weird.

Not a problem, just wanted to put that out there as extra precaution in case you do use that location as a jacking point.
