Which Warn winch will work for my car?

I have recently decided to buy a winch for my Jeep Cherokee 2009 and everybody recommends me to choose something from Warn series. But I don’t know which models will work for my car. If you know something about Warn, could you please help me to choose the right device, which is powerful, easy in usage and durable as well? Thanks.

Personally, I would go with anything rated at 9000 pounds or more. Just goto Warn's website there is a lot of useful info there as they have several models to choose from.

I assume you mean a Grand Cherokee - a WK. The Cherokee XJ was discontinued after the 2001 model year, and the Cherokee KL didn't debut until 2014.

So a winch should be rated for 1.5 to 2 times your vehicle weight. A WK weighs around 4500 pounds (although some models were pushing 4900 - and it depends how much weight you've added to it with modifications) so a 9000 pound winch should be adequate.

take your time and do sme reesearch The warn V are just cheap . Many of the warns have been overated If you can afford it the warn 8274 is a clssic and reliable as an anvil. The super winch exp is a great new winch that really ups the game. Ibelive it will be the bumper not the car that limits what you can put on it.
