who wants to be the first to try ORI struts?

is a brilliant concept and looks like a ton o fun.
I'd have towers clear up to the hood, and sticking through the cargo deck floor, if I did this, as I would want the 14" strut

I have a a few friends that have them. I have a set of 8s for my 4x4 fuso conv, but will need to get another set due to the weight rating. Still need to work out the details but using custom bent radius arms when I do my build

Look interesting, but all of their documentation specifies Off-road use only. I don't know if that's to prevent liability if they have an issue on-road, or if it is missing some sort of DOT approval.

Also show a max weight rating of 1900 lbs. This should cover the ~6K GVWR on a Gen3 Montero, but may be lower than models like the Bilstein 4600 or OME.

Would probably be well suited for a crawler build on a Gen 1 or 2.

My buddy has 21k on his oris on his Jk street and some offroad use. Also on a wrangler used for street and offroad as well as a fuso rear with 4 link and bags.

they are cool for daily work. way over engineered and durable, but lact certs.
it's 1900 pounds , each corner.
or for each strut.
the tricky part is fitting them into the cramped spaces.
would be nice , in this case to drive toyatas.
the other keen detail is the plate attachment to the LCA on our montees.
building in the necessary strength to absorb the pounding
