Will either of my tables work decent for for navigation, engine monitoring, etc

So I have a Hisense Sero 7 android 4.1 tablet and a Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet. Are either one of these worth a dang? My plan is to use it for navigation, engine monitoring, music, and trying to download pictures on to it if possible. I'll mostly be traveling around California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. I searched, but all the info on these tables is almost 2 yrs old. Are there other things I can use a tablet that I am not thinking of? Also, are there any programs/Apps I should be looking for to install? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm pretty computer stupid.

Does the Hisense have Bluetooth? If so, you should have no problems, get a cheap Bluetooth GPS receiver, and use that. The venue runs windows. There are no monitoring systems available for the windows system yet. I have heard some are coding for it now however.

For nav, backcountry navigator for off road, GPS co pilot for on road, or here maps if you can get it (the best on road nav system). For engine monitoring torque pro is the app to get. Just use the included apps for music etc.

No problem. I have both an android and windows tablets and use the android for off roading because of the available software for it. Anything you need to know let me know!

One more dumb question. Will I be able to run 2 different things off the blue tooth? An OBDII reader and a gps? The tablet has Bluetooth 3.0

I think you can. I know my tablet can. I run both the Bluetooth modules at once. It really depends on the tablet.
