Will these wheels work on a 92?

They should work on your '92. As for the tires, you didn't list the rim size of those 33's. That's the question. 33x12.50 will be fine as long as they are 33x12.50 R15's to fit those 15" rims.

Sorry my bad. I now run 33x12.5 R15 So basically they are the same wheel that came stock with my truck, correct?

I have seen both, and they do appear to be the same design. However, 4Runner/Hilux wheels require a flanged lug nut while the FJ80 design requires a conical lug nut. I do not recall whether or not the offset is identical between the FJ80 and the 4Runner/Hilux wheels.

Good info, I did not know that for the same years they were different. For a 1992 I am going to make the assumption (as you mentioned) that they have conical lug seats, but still having it hub centric (4Runners did, really?) shouldn't be a prob.

91-92 used the same 15" rims as those pictured 93-97 used the 16" rim cause of bigger calipers depending on what rims you have now you might have to get different lug nuts as others have stated

Those look exactly like the wheels from my 92 80 series...they should work just fine. 33x12.50s will look thinner, and nice...on those wheels.

The 4Runners and Pickups of the era that used those wheels are all IFS, so the backspacing is likely different, providing you with tie rod end interference. The part numbers are different between the 4Runner/PU and Land Cruiser wheels. I would ask to test fit them first. Another issue is that they are 7 inches wide. I'm pretty sure most tire shops won't mount a tire wider than 10.5 on a 7 incher.

In the parking lot of my office today, there happened to be a 91-92 Cruiser parked next to a 4Runner with these same wheels on them. The wheels on the Cruiser had "15x7JJ10" cast into them, the 4Runner's had "T15x7JJ OFFSET8" cast into them. the dish on the cruiser wheels was noticeably deeper while under side by side comparison.

While the offset/backspacing difference may not seem like much, it can cause interference.

I'd hold out for the correct Land Cruiser specific wheels. They come up for sale occasionally on Mud.

No

15" IFS wheels will interfere on a solid axle truck, unless you use spacers.

Ok say I just want to get some plain old black 8 spoke steels. How wide do they need to be to run 33x12.5 or 33x10.5 and what backspacing do I need. BTW... What is backspacing? Or does anyone have any 91-92 alloys that are taking up space in their garage that they would like to get rid off?

I don't remember the backspacing offhand, but I'm fairly certain that with a bit of searching in the 80 series tech section on ih8mud you'll be able to find the stock backspacing.
