Wilson Flex 4...Any input?

Hey Guys, I am running a 4ft firestick now, however, the parking garage I have to park in at my apt is low enough that it always hits and is starting to crack. I was looking at the Wilson flex 4ft and thought it would be great. I can either let it hit because its made for it, or I can bend it down slightly and tie it off so that it clears the structure.

Does anyone have any experience or input on this antenna? This is mainly for off-road communication with other trucks in the convoy, so I do not need a super powerful/super long range. The firestick I run now works fine, but cracks..haha. How does this compare to a 4ft firestick? Comparable? Thanks

You will just length the time before your going to break the antenna..
How about going to a motorized mount, Raise and lower the antenna from inside
the vehicle?

Those are cool! haha, you think I will still break it, I figure its allowed to flex, so I can bend it and tie it down (not much bend, just enough to put it under all teh low hanging objects in the structure). Once I do this, it will no longer be hitting anything. Honeslty, I can also remeove it (my current firestick is off right now) but I hate taking it off and putting it back on over and over again..haha

I run that atennae and got it from RCR, too. Buy it without regret - I get great range and clarity. Had it about 2 years and has held up well.

They are excellent. You can bend them almost back on themselves.
Mine has been on the front bumper of my BJ70 for a dozen years at least. Survived BC brush and low parking garages too.

I put another on my BJ74 when I got it. Haven't been able to break one yet.

Can't really compare it to anything, as it is the only one I've had, but I've had it a couple of years with no problems. Easily bendable and will definitely tuck under a roof rack for parking garages.

No problems on the trail with it whipping around, and I seem to get good reception with it.

I had a 4' wilson for years and it was indestructible. Kicked out the extra power if it was tuned right. I used to talk all over North America and Mexico with my 10M radio.
