I hated the steel cable on my winch..... switched over to 7/16" rope and never looked back. Looks like a tight fit.....how do you access the winch control plug and the spool lever?

In the mounting kit there is a rod that drops down through the cover under the hood although that only works if the engage lever is directly on top of the winch. my is a bit forward so it doesn't work. luckily you can get your hand in the gap directly above the winch, plus my winch has a wireless remote.
