Anyone have recent experience with wireless backup cameras?

I am only concidering this because of the difficulty of getting the video cable through the firewall to the screen on the dash.

Do you have a link to what you're thinking about?
This would be a plus in my LJR. I'm planning on adding a 2 DIN head unit in the future.

The used travel trailer I bought came with a Furrion Wireless camera. Its actually pretty awesome. It's an old model that used to run around $300 but I think the newer ones are around $500 now.

I'll always have one now, after seeing how handy this one is.

I used a cheap ($100ish) amazon one on the back of a TT. It worked well enough. There was a lag in the video, which i imagine all wireless ones will have somewhat. The video quality was marginal, which i would imagine would improve with a more expensive setup. It would also get some interference causing it to loose picture or lag excessively under certain conditions, usually under bridges, in tunnels, etc.

If you are just running one to the back of a truck, i'd just use a wired setup.
