I am want to wire up my Bantam trailer with two deep cycle battery's, run a solar panel, and have a 1000w power converter. But i have no real idea on how to do it. I really dont want to go to some shop and have them charge me $100.00 hr to do it. Can anyone help me? Maybe show me there setup That I can use as a guide? Thx

I've been researching this quite a bit for our Voyager Camper. There's a number of resources that show you some easy to follow solar-to-battery-to-inverter setups. Here's one link I pulled a lot of good information on: https://www.outsidesupply.com/rv-solar-guide/

Select a good MPPT controller to keep your batteries from being overcharged. The Renogy ones are a great choice. That's what we selected.

Our setup is going to run:

2x 160W solar panels
Renogy MPPT solar charge controller
2x 100Ah batteries
1 800w (peak) inverter for light electronics.

I'll have to look and see if I have a soft copy of the wiring diagram. If I find one, I'll ship it off to you, but there are plenty of great examples on the web.
