I have a 613d mercedes bus with a 24v system that runs the bus itself..For the house batteries I have 4 12v batteries that seem to run the generator and other 12v things like lights..There are also another 24v set of batteries right next to the 12v house batteries..My problem is this system never stays charged. .so I want to get new batteries and rewire it with an inverter..im thinking of going all 24v since there already is a 24v to 12v converter. The biggest problem I see with this is I have a large diesel generator that wont charge the batteries if I do this..
