Thanks for the pic Dstudder, I would like to see pick on a snorkel route as well if anybody has them. I am looking to add lights to my rack as well. Does anybody have any lights that they recomend mounting to rack?

No need to pull the A-pillar to route the wiring. I took a couple minutes with the ground wire and fished it through the A-pillar openings then taped the rest of the wires to the ground wire to pull then through. If one wanted to straighten out a solid ground wire to make fishing easier you can fix one end to an anchor point and attach the other one into a drill and spin clockwise until perfectly straight. It'd make a drip loop on the loom where it enters the cabin to keep moisture away from the fusebox.

Here's a couple of what it looked/looks like on my Disco's with the Mantec snorkel.

In terms of lights, that's a personal preference as well as a application discussion. I went with Hella Black Magic's (aka 1000 size) b/c I wanted them to be smaller than the 'normal' 4k array that you will see on many SD racks. EE or Susquehanna MotorSports (www.rallylights.com) are good places to use as reference points on the application side.

I ran mine up through the snorkel from the engine bay. Doesn't look like I have any photos of it though. Just in at the air box and out just below the snorkel head.

I have seen a variety of ways to mount roof lights of different types including roof beacons. One company I have worked for have taken out one of their rotating beacons to fit, in the same mount with the same roof socket, a pair of work lamps that shine on the load bed and to the side of the offloading area.

Being able to just unconnected one lamp and fit another in under a minute is well worth it with these commercial vehicles and something I am intending doing myself too ;) Certainly makes it a professional looking install when you get it right!
