Just a side note.... If you can avoid the Dual Zone climate control do so!! I have had to change the blend-doors in 3 of them fir friends and they are a HUGE PITA!!
I have a 4.7, with the NV242 and its been amazing. I do get crap for having a WJ, but I get anywhere I could ever want to go. I've got a 4.5" lift and 33's right now. Very capable rig. I have no major issues and am at 150k miles. It's like all other cars, treat them well and they will do the same for you. Just did a new radiator.
Try to get the tow package as you will get a tranny and PS cooler with it.
