WK2 GPS Tablet Set Up

Okay GC people I need some help with my tablet placement. I just picked up a 17 GC Trailhawk and am just getting started on mods. I took my iPad on a drive today to try and figure out which RAM mount I would need and I came away wondering how I’m going to make this work. It seems a little cramped with the IPad in a usable position while still allowing access to everything else. Does anybody have any solutions you can send pictures of. Let me know how you made it work.

Go on YouTube and follow overlanding. Look for overlanding GPS there are tablet mounts and software mentioned. I use my Samsung tablet. It's really cool! I downloaded free software and with the built in GPS receiver it does not need any WiFi. It works just like my Garmin.

I mounted a 3.5" circle pad from amazon dead center on the dash and attached a ram mount to it. I bought a couple extensions for the unit and had it angled so that it was just above the touch screen without blocking too much of the view. I've also seen floor Ram mounts in the passenger foot well that look clean.
