Wrangler mud flaps? Winters comming, and I drive though crap all winter long.

Anyone have any decent mud flaps for JKU's? I have 33x11.5 tires with less backspacing and I have not been through a winter with them yet. I still have my stock wheels and have stock size studded snow tires on them, and even with those my door handles get covered in ice and crap from the road. I really need to add some front mud flaps this year.

Pictures if you have them, would be nice, as well as where you got them. Any home made solutons? I understand the "cool" factor of a dirty Jeep, but I can't stand all the crap on the door handles when I wasn't even out wheeling. Since about 50% of the roads around here are not paved, it gets bad.

I have the Mopar flaps on mine. I like them, definitely helps keep crap off the side of the truck.

I'm in the process of building new mounts for my mudflaps.

I had the Mopar flaps and while they did a passable job, they were gradually
taking my front flares off. I didn't realise how bad it was until a kind individual
nearly caused a wreck beside me while trying to get a video of my flaps
flapping on the highway.

The new mudflaps will be proper rubber bolted to a bracket welded to the Rubicon
rocker guards.

I was going to get some Mopar flaps, but every year my fender flares get so full of ice they try to fall off. I am going to have to make something. I would like to see how ^^^^^^ project turns out.
I was considering some tube flares and then making a rubber extension that starts about halfway back and hangs down past them. Detachable for summer use. There is no rock crawling or hard wheeling around here in the winter, it is all under snow. There is however lots of roads that turn into mud and slush.
