WTB: "can-back" canvas bed rack for my 2014 Tacoma's 6ft bed

In the market for a soft top campers shell that can carry the weight of a rack. the Can-back racks seem ideal! Just called the maker's to hear they are "maybe" going to be back into production in a few months, but who knows...

Trying to build a safari like bed for the kids to hang out in when we are camping or tailgating, but at the same time drop the flaps for around town.

1) Anyone want to sell their can-back (with or without the roof rack) that would fit on my new 2014 gen taco dc lb (6ft bed)? (BTW i am in So cal)

2) Suggestions of other options? (Bestop super top and the soft topper look like they are a little light on the frame...)

Bestop and Softopper are light on the frame, but they are awesome! I use a Softopper and love it. I've only heard good things about Bestop. A lot of builds get a softopper or a bestop and then get some sort of expedition bed rack or a boat rack that goes up and over for supporting a rooftop tent or whatever

Ive see that, it looks like a great solution! But i would think that you get more internal room with the single, dual purpose frame of the can-back no?

I was waiting on Canback to make one for the first gen Tundra for a pretty long time. Eventually I decided to make something myself. I wanted to avoid building a rack around a top, so I made a frame that can have brackets bolted to it for a rack.

So far I've made the base and brackets for the rack, but haven't had time to sew a top. I may end up just making the top and forego sides as I doubt I'll ever use them. I will probable sew in zippers just in case though.
