At some point we’ll be selling our 17 high roof passenger 4x4 144 - converted light / convertible back to passenger. We’re building an expedition rig now. Looking for a used Sequoia now.

2005 Mercedes Sprinter Westfalia by Airstream Asking $70,000 serious offers considered
We have finally outgrown our beloved Sprinter 4x4. 2 adults plus a growing 14-year-old and 9-year-old does not leave much room at night. Up for sale is our 2005 Mercedes Westfalia by Airstream or Sprinter for short.
Recent (October) complete go through by RV Specialists in San Diego, CA – serviced the water heater, new engine hoses, checked water systems, suspension and anything mechanical needed for year of travel were done. Further service check to replace brakes and differential fluid at Sprinter Service of Vista, CA.
6 months ago engine was replaced with a refurbished Mercedes engine by Linden Engineering of Golden, Colorado. Still under warranty. The previous engine had been self-repaired by previous owner which left some engine first aid for me to deal with. We've had many adventures in the camper. It is currently at our home in North San Diego but could deliver it to Colorado as we spend time there. If you live in Boulder you might have seen it there.
What we love about our Sprinter:
Go anywhere and camp in comfort.
Amazing visibility driving down the road.
Easy to access the habitat while driving (as a passenger)
It is unique-get stopped for tours all the time which is fun showing people.
True European design. No space is wasted.
Features:
4WD-W/front locking hubs
Tires-New 1500 miles ago Good Year Duratrac
Sleeps 4-2 up and 2 down. The upstairs pulls out and turns into a very comfortable bed for two-when retracted it offers over 6 feet of head room.
Marine Fridge for extra food-much bigger than a traditional sprinter fridge
200 watts of solar-Can stay off grid and run everything for 5 days.
Microwave
3 burner stove
Inverter
Dash only AC-But does fine for us-previous owner removed AC when he raised it and replaced with solar.
Pioneer Bluetooth stereo
Custom carpet flooring (see pics)
Upstairs fan adjusts into multiple directions
Diesel heater-we were fine in -7 degrees in Utah and were very warm
Sofa converts into a bed
Storage underneath the sofa
Hanging closet-Multiple storage compartments throughout

Has a couple of small trip scars but what serious overlander doesn’t! Slight ding in front driver door (see pic) from when friend opened in a strong wind. Only reason for sale is after doing most vehicles available Defender, LR3, RR Sport, RTT,. etc. we are ready for more space It is pretty safe to say there are not many Sprinters out there with this kind of layout or capability. $70,000 .
