WTB: F150 Super Crew 3.5L 4WD with HDPP

Long shot here, but posting just in case.

Looking for a pretty specific vehicle. Ideally XLT trim as it keeps the payload for this truck higher (vs Lariat).

Ideally want a payload ~2600lb.

If you know of one, or come across one, please let me know!

From my research I can't find the super crew optioned with the heavy duty payliad package, only the max tow. It seems that you have to get the supercab for HDPP.

IIRC the HDPP was only available with the 5.0. To get the HDPP with the 3.5 you also would need the Max Tow option.

The max tow ALWAYS comes with the HDPP.

You can get a super crew with 3.5 and HDPP. I have seen them, but the one I saw was without 4WD. You do need the 6.5' bed, not the 5'

The max tow ALWAYS comes with the HDPP.

The only way to get the HDPP with the 3.5 is to have the Max Tow package. The only motor that comes with the HDPP as a stand alone option is the 5.0:

The 2015-2020 HDPP gets the 0.11" frame stock compared to 0.10" for heavier non-HDPP trucks and 0.087" for lighter F150's.

The front springs are stiffer than the non-HDPP truck but the same front axle rating (3800 pounds) due to some other limitations.

The rear is a 3+1 spring pack rated at 4800 pounds instead of the 2+1 for all other weigh ratings (4050 [2018 MaxTow], 3800 [most 3.5EB/5.0 trucks], 3300 [most 2.7 trucks])
Rear axle: 9.75HD axle (9.75B on axle sticker) rated at 4800 pounds and with the electronic locking 3.73 gears.

The shocks are "heavier duty" than any non-HDPP F150.

The rins are slightly heavier than non-HDPP wheels (rated at 2275 pounds) and the tires are rated higher.

It also has a thicker radiator and solid front sway bar.

I saw your posting on CL a week back. I am in MA.

We have bought a bigger camper, and in turn, need a bigger truck. Looking for an F350. Which is just as hard as finding your F150!

If we were still in the market, I would jump on your truck. Fair price in the given market IMO.

Good luck with your search. F150s are incredibly scarce right now. I’ve had an order in the system for a 2021 for several months and still don’t have a VIN or production date. Others have been waiting more than 6 months……….
