Hello ladies and gents,

I’m in search of a flat bed for my truck. I am about to purchase a camper similar to the one in the photo and modify it with more external storage cabinets. I’m wondering if y’all recommend one or maybe anyone of our members in Arizona or even California has one for sale.

Respectfully,

Fwiw, If you dont realise, Usually, trucks made as cab & chassis has different frame than a pickup.
Cab & chassis is standard framerails that can bolt almost directly any number of bodyworks.
Fitting a flatbed to a pickup frame is much a custom one off.
Thanks for your response. I am still new to the overland type of mentality. I have been a dunes guy for most of my life, so, a diesel pusher motor home has sufficed. I’m just now realizing that possibly an overland rig would be more appropriate since it’s just me, the dog, and the toys.

I would talk to a local welder/ fabricator and have one built. Most flatbeds are generic and sit too high. If you build it yourself you can make it the exact length and with as your camper for a clean look.

I appreciate your input. I’ll look into it.
