WTB -- In or Near Costa Rica

I will be heading to Costa Rica for a work project in September. I'm looking for a daily driver I can explore and weekend camp out of. It doesn't need to be fancy and my budget is likely under 20KUSD. I'd prefer the vehicle to already be registered in Costa Rica but if it's in a nearby country or possible west coast US I could maybe make that work.

If anyone hears of anything please pass along.
