WTB: Locking Propane Cylinder Straps

I bought a trailer that has two L-shaped brackets to hold 5lb propane tanks. It originally had locking metal straps to secure the tanks, but the seller retained these when I got the trailer. I have looked far and wide for replacements and can't find any--does anybody here know of a source for these? I really want something that locks with a padlock so that my tanks won't disappear.

Thanks,
Greg

I am using a modified PowerTank bracket to secure my Propane tank to the Adventure Trailer Chaser. Although it does not lock the treads are long enough that it takes a while to undue them. You might call PowerTank to see if they sell the locking straps.

Justin,
I was aware of those specific straps, but they are not locking as you point out. I'm hoping there is a locking option somewhere out there. If not, is there anybody here who would fabricate some?

Thanks,
Greg

A pretty simple/cheap project. Some sheet steel cut to whatever width you want and select from a choice of latches at mcmaster-carr, some lockable. Weld on the latch and off you go. Maybe $20 in materials and whatever someone charges to cut and weld. Find a local fabrication/weld shop.
