Looking for one that is modestly built but won't turn away a deal on a stock one. D1-D2 does not matter, depends on the condition of the specific disco. Would prefer lower miles for the year and I've got about $9k to play with.

Just here...
$9k will buy you a KILLER D1 and at that price, or anything remotely near it, everything should be in working order, it should be 100% rust free and include some extras. Thats not a bad budget for a D1. Just be very picky and search the entire truck for rust.

Call up Bill at Rovertym, his son bought the RTE D1, you might be able to negotiate with him. I'm headed over to talk to him tonight again, its a very nicely built truck.

that rte truck is pretty nice and could probably go over anything you put in front of it...speaking of going to see bill i need to do that as well and see about a rear bumper with nerfs:wings:

I would jump on a rear bumper with them if i didnt already have one with swings.

Although I have that much I went with a local D1 today fo much less. I will post pictures of it when the weather is nice. It is a '96 Black D1 5spd with 109k. The motor and trans are strong. Only fixes are cosmetic, like the headliner. Thanks for the help.
