X-Country Ski day trip

Decided to get out in the snow and play around on my x-country skis for awhile today. Just got into the sport last year and am having a blast with it. I also needed a break from studying for finals and since I work at Crater Lake and have to haul some equipment in some deep snow here in a week or two I figured I should get out for a bit.

Anyways took a little drive from Klamath Falls up to Hagelstein Mountain (about a 20-30mindrive:victory and skied around for a few hours (no pics from skiing sorry). Roads were pretty nasty and the snow got up to over 2ft in many places but the runner did just fine :smiley_drive:.

Skiing was pretty good although I discovered my skiis are a little narrow/short for breaking trail, and I'm really bad at stopping going down hill lol so I'm working on getting some snowshoes now.

great shots, I like the low clouds pics, the snow was great ,I was a little bummed it started to melt today. But I guess its still early yet.
