I was wondering if anyone here has heard of or ordered from these folks ? Their website says they are based out of Utah and they seem to have some of the lowest prices on the Ball Joints I need for the XJ.

Thanks for any info:beer:

Hmmm, I stay very in touch with all the different shops in Utah and I can honestly say I've never heard of them. Their business location is in an office plaza, so I'm guess they are mostly a mail-order/drop-ship shop but I could be wrong. Let us know how it works out.

Well so far its not going well. But I can't blame them. I used google checkout on their site and it it sent me 2 confirmations. So I called and talked to someone and sure enough, there were 2 orders. He went and cancelled one of them, but it appears that this has cancelled the whole transaction. I wam going to call them back on Monday and see what went wrong. If it has been cancelled totally, I'll order the Ball Joint kits at that time. From what I have found online, they have the best price for these kits. And hopefully this will salve the DW on the XJ, as these are the only parts that I believe we haven't changed out yet.

2 B continued...

Update

Well, on Sunday morning I had an e-mail from Joel from XtremeTerrain and he was folowing up on this and had noticed that the order had cancelled out. So he said to eihter go ahead and reorder through google check or any of their other methods and gave me a code for 5% off. I replyed and said I was going to call on Monday and talk to a live person. Come Monday i called and gave my info to the young lady on the other end, but she never took my cc#, so I was a bit confused. Well i e-mailed Joel and filled him in on the situation. About 15 minutes later I get a call from Joel. He confirms the parts that I needed. Gets my info and cc# and applys the discount. He lets me know that they are a drop-ship co. and that they have 2 warehouses, 0ne in Nevada and one in North carolina. He was able to ge the parts out of Nevada and they arrived UPS today.
So I must say, that for it starting off badly (beacause of the googled checkout) that Joel gave me what i consider very good customer service and made sure that I received the parts I needed.
Now to go and install the ball joints:Mechanic:
