After seening an Eflare in use I decided to get something similar. After doing some research on features and cost, I decided on the ZFlare.

Features: 9 flash patterns, non maring magnet, CR123 battery or rechargable
Available in Red, Yellow, (red and yellow are the brightest), Green, Blue, and white.
Cost: CR123 $20.00, Rechargable $40.00
I used 4 on my Power Wagon at the Parker 425 to mark our location for the racers, and to exit the race against traffic. We drove over part of the active course (with permission) at 50+ MPH to get out as fast as possible, and the magnet held the units on tightly even over some very rough sections of track. I took a short video from 50 yards away to show how bright 2 red and 2 yellow ZFlares are. These were on the rotating setting.

I foresee these as aiding in break downs, recovery, or stucks as warning/hazard light with no flame or smoke. They would also function as a great personal marker with the SOS feature, and to keep folks visable at night in recovery situations.
