Zipper lube?

Background: My TrailBlazer has a couple zippers close to the ground and they're just starting to get balky even though they're clean.

I recall advice years ago to use paraffin wax on zippers. Is that reasonable, or is there something better?

For plastic zippers...

If the zippers are some form of plastic, I recommend 303 Products' Aerospace Protectant. Spray on, wipe off. Slick and doesn't collect dirt like a wax coating will.

Even brass zips can get corroded, which is why I like a Delrin zipper on outdoor gear.
