Like a galant knight riding in on his white stallion...(alright so its a sandglow camel trophy defender 110)... I shall come to his rescue here.. I have spoken to the gentleman on the phone and he is awaiting me to send pics of interior etc etc... Interesting to see what he wants to do with it but i am unable to pry that info out of him...LOL...Although after speaking to me he did post the bit about asking if anyone else had one for sale, hence my little post after that...:Wow1:

Sorry...there is only 1 101 FC...while that series ambulance is cool..it is not a 101FC...its a modified series...not sure what the wheelbase is but it says it was an 80, which would have been correct for that period....obviously stretched...or stretchered if you like..LOL..
whoops Missed the 101 request.

lost, but making time
I'd like to give this post a 10 out of 10 !

:jump:

Oh, and not a 10% price bump, rather a 15% bump :wavey:

You must have sensitive testes then; there wasn't any "ball-busting" going on.

No worries - that can be remedied. I'll even avoid the obvious that a man of your advanced age and tender gonads should be skilled in punctuation, spelling, and grammar at this stage of the game. But I will bust your balls in that member, The Rover Shop, has answered your request in post #4, 5, 7, and 13. Did you lose your glasses or is all that cash in your hands keeping you from typing a reply to his posts on your Commodore?

Now that there's your ball-busting bragevan...

Showing in the pics is the original escape hatch and the original interior...the stretchers on both sides crank up about 3 feet and locks in and then another stretcher fits underneath... the original cabinets are there and all function just fine...under the right side stretcher is still the racks for the oxygen tanks...would make a great spot for your onboard air tanks etc...haven't had her running in a couple of months...charged up the battery and she fired right up... I have more pics if anyone is interested..

bragevan- I just turned 49 today- so I am soon to follow, and already my brains are leaking out my ears! I believe Shayne at the Rover Shop has what you are looking for.
If not, I know Dale Knepp (Rovertrader) has a Land Rover Defender 130 with an ambulance box on the rear that he is working on that will be for sale.
It is a pretty sweet truck that seats 4!!

Hope that helps!

Oh come on, every one should know the only reason to get a 101 is to turn it into a Judge Dread taxi !
just like Pinewood studios in the UK did - quite a while back !

Well it would appear that the legendary 101FC may have found a new home...really gonna miss the old girl and the plans I had for her..

I just saw this thread... That's funny because there is a Land CRUISER 101... I have no idea if they ever made it into an ambulance, but it could easily be so...

For those that are wondering if I am nuts, the Toyota 100 series with the HZ engine (vs the HD) is the HZJ101 while the HDJ100 is still just a 100. :)

This was mine. Great for two but not for a family expedition with young ones!!

If your still looking for a 101, check with Green Mountian Rovers in Vermont. They import them from the UK, and can get you anything you need or want.
