Keep the Stripes?

Any time you drive a vehicle that is a little "different" you get some comments. For example, my 110 has a raised air intake and I had a kid ask me if I can drive it under water.

Having never had a zebra striped vehicle (or any animal pattern for that matter) I'm left wondering what kind of comments you get. Can you share some? I bet the kids love it!

I have had a Zebra stripe landrover for the best part of 40yrs ( not the same one! series thru defender !) , It is enjoyed by little kids , and has always been a ice breaker with people in many countries , I cant think of a downside, even extra security against its theft , as its not going anywhere unnoticed JMHO

I'm with this guy. I think it looks pretty good. A stock disco with zebra stripes? not so much.

Oh goodness, I get tons of comments. The kids absolutely love it. Every time we take it out we get lots of looks, and lots of people wanting to take pictures with it  One of the best stories/comments I can think of so far is my field supervisor putting in a hitching post at our station and a cardboard sign that read for zebras only. Speaking of the driving underwater comment I've also got that a few times.

If it were a different vehicle, I would say no, but since rovers are seen in africa, it seems to go with the theme. Definitely keep it. It looks great!

And here we see the zebra in his indigenous habit. After a hard day of scouting his terrain, he takes a quick swim through the lake to cool off.

My first reaction, without seeing the pics, was kinda like "Stripes?" *shudder*

But I think it works on your truck... The hood blackout and white roof balance it out.
