Guess it depends on how much room you have. We have a pop-up truck camper. My wife and son put their cloths in one 3-drawer plastic cabinet, the kind you can get at The Container Store. I'm use to packing tight and small from the Navy and pretty much stuff everything into a small backpack and augment with helmet bag once in awhile if needed. We also have top bin in a cabinet available for clothes if needed.

Thanks, I have a double cab Tacoma and am thinking driver's side rear door for the fridge and passenger side rear door for my "wardrobe". My backpack isn't doing it as stuff keeps falling out on the ground as I'm grabbing other clothes.

Daggone, and those things only have two sides. Some of the stuff I've driven makes me want to have two pair in one day.:)

I use a GoRuck GR2 and some Eagle Creek Organization bags for clothes and such. Eagle Creek Pack-It Folders and Cubes are priceless. They are easy to find exactly what your looking for and your clothes stay nice and almost wrinkle free. I travel about 190 days a year and it works for me. I'm sure it will work for shorter trips as well.

Those are some great ideas there! I bet I could find a med size soft suitcase at one of the thrift shops and then use some of those cubes so I can find stuff quickly in the dark or the weather. Thanks!

have a fox racing duffle with different compartments....had it for years and years, it is a smaller version of our MX gear bags.

also have a nice sized mesh laundry bag for soiled items awaiting laundering.

sorta looks like this but smaller.

Surprised no one asked, length of time, location and type of weather for that area at that time.
And how many going in your rig....all these determine what you bring and how much.

All we need right now in TX is a pair of board shorts, tank top, and sandals.

Good questions. Life at 10,000 feet can be interesting. We can hit eighty, eighty-five very sunny degrees at noon, have a downpour roll in at three and see the temperature drop forty-five degrees by sundown. This old body has some weird issues and I'm much more susceptible to feeling cold than I used to be. The desert is a bit less complicated, but you can still experience a pretty good temperature drop once the sun goes down. This would be for a party of one as I can figure for one more after I get my stuff sorted out. Thanks everyone for your input!
