how good were the original Cooper Discoverer S/T's?

I have come across a set of the original S/T's in the size I want with about 70% tread at a great price, but before I pick them up I was curious how well they did in the snow and rocks? These are not the newer Maxx, tons of info online on those but not the older model.

They sold before I could get over to look at them.

IMO, just as well. I cut a sidewall on mine on a parking stop. Wear was average, traction was average, structural durability was below average.
