Alright so I just wrapped up the job. It wasn't too bad. Drain the coolant and oil. Then drain the block. I couldn't get my plug out so I said screw it and just accepted the fact that I was gonna get some coolant on the ground. Remove block heater and take out the threw bolts 10mm if I remember correctly. I pryed the cooler away from the block to let the remaining coolant out. I didn't remove the front housing. Then I used a pry bar and got the cooler and rear housing out. Cleaned it all up and slapped on new Orings from dieselorings.com. I lubed up the Orings and the rear housing and used my press to get the rear on. After that I cleaned up the block and front housing and applied some lube to that as well. I got it all into position and used a pry bar to seat it all the way into the front. There is a solid tab of metal on the block by the exhaust manifolds that works perfectly to send that sucker home with the pry bar. Then I slid the gasket up into place because it fell off during the process. And we'll you know the rest of the process. Probably took three hours total and that was with running to the parts store two times. One of those times Flavor Flav was buying powersteering fluid next to me.

I've had good results buffing lenses using 'Autosol' to clear up the foggyness/yellowing in older lenses. With 'Autosol' I've just polished plastic by hand, but I have used the car buffer and decent car polish to freshen up aging headlights... made a night and day difference.

So you think that it would work even though they are kinda melted and have a brown mark on them?

Swapped out the old lights with some new led's. You can see the old vs new

Where did you get the LED's

And that is only 4 of them. They are no joke. I will have a dimmer for the front 2, and a dimmer for the rear 2.
And I will put TV speakers where the middle one's are.

Damn!! Those sure got mine beat when it comes to britness

I'd wire them so that the dimmer works for the 'Low setting' and the 'High setting' bypasses the dimmer. You could still have them front and rear... but that way you'd have more flexibility and control.

Speakers in two of the holes is a clever idea.
