Howdy all! Wanted to throw up some pics and info on my latest purchase/project rig.
My wife, kids, and I recently moved back to Idaho after 7 long years away. I decided it was time to find another family adventure vehicle that would get us back into the mountains that we are so blessed to have at our fingertips. I never intended to purchase a full size SUV, but when this one came up for sale, I couldn’t pass it up.
1994 Chevy full size Blazer (last year for the “Blazer” designation on the full size).
Purchased last November with just under 117,000 on the odometer. I bought it locally from a younger guy who was looking for something newer and with better fuel economy. ? He had purchased it from the original owner just months before hand. It was dirty but I could see the potential!!!
The things that this vehicle checked off my list were:
-Reliable engine, transmission, and transfer case
-Easy to source parts for
-Room for my wife, our 3 kids, and I
-Spacious cargo area
-Ample fuel capacity (32 gallon tank)
-Full frame
-Comfortable interior while not being overly complicated
-Fuel Injected
-Clean and well maintained
Here are some pictures of how it looked as purchased:

First things first, a full detail and to ditch the bug shield and stick on chrome.
