New WARN Ascent HD Bumpers for Full-Size Trucks

Warn Industries is expanding its bumper offerings for the full-size truck markets. This includes the release of our new Ascent HD bumpers. The Ascent HD front bumpers are made with more metal than the standard Ascent bumpers offering a more robust product for heavier trucks.


Built with 1/4" and 3/16" steel, these stout bumpers have the ability to accommodate mid-frame winches up to 12,000 lbs. (5443 kg), such as WARN® VR EVO, ZEON®, and ZEON Platinum, and also now Warn's large-frame Heavyweight Series winches up to 16,500 lbs. (7484 kg) including the M12, M15, and 16.5ti. Ascent HD bumpers let truck buyers equip their pickups with a much broader range of winch products to get the exact setup they need. Their extra-stout construction also offers additional front-end protection from trail hazards. Made in the USA.

I'm running the Ascent bumper on our 2020 F250. I was surprised to see the 12k winch limit. But it's worked well so far.

HD bumper looks a bit oversized on the trucks. I'm sure functionality is good. Is the overall size bigger?

And that's the exact reason we came out with the Ascent HD, so users could bolt up the higher-capacity winches.

This is not clear. May interfere or will?

I'm not the expert on this, so I'd give Customer Service a call at 800-543-9276 Monday–Friday from 7am to 4pm Pacific time and someone will be able to assist better.

I've concluded that if the web site doesn't say the bumper is fully compatible, it probably isn't. I'll go with a company that does promote their product is compatible. The installation instructions are kind of dodgy, which makes me not trust anyone I might call.

The customer service team are going to have the most expertise on this and would likely be the fastest to respond to you vs. me going to have to find the answer myself. It was done in the interest of helping the customer in a timely fashion.
