I just picked this up a couple of weeks ago. My wife doesn't like it. Says she would rather sleep on the ground because the tent reminds her of a coffin!:banghead:

Sooooo, I am thinking I better sell. It needs a mattress cover. I just picked up a new ladder ($200 value). I'm working on a mattress cover or a new mattress.

Condition is good. Has few minor scuffs and scrathes from use. Canvas is in good shape. Couple of small poked holes in the bug screen (easy to fix). Mechanism works perfect. Has an extra crank.

This is the large for two adults and two children. It's big.

I paid $1050 delivered to Boise. I also picked up a brand new ladder. I will throw in the ladder for free if I can get $1000 out of it.

I will try to get actual pictures soon. Here is a link so you can see what it looks like.

Wife was ok with the tent before it got here. It was after it was here and she saw how nice and dark it is inside that got her. This is a helluva lot cheaper than a new one. Not as nice as a new one, but pretty nice.

Jason

PS: possibly interested in partial trade for traditional RTT or fridge/freezer.

What are the dimensions (internal and external)? I looked on their web site and I'll be damned if I can find them.

outside 66"x85"

inside 61"x75"

The inside length is measured from the scissor mechanism. It's actually longer than that on the inside.

Are you going to be around this weekend? I'd like to come look at it. I'm just over in MH.

Eric

sure. There are a couple of people interested, but I will be around. Do you still have my ph# from when we met at Costco for the lights?

Eric let me know when you run down to take a peek. I'd like to see it, as well as finally meet JRose in person :)
Sweet. Yeah, Eric and Dave. Just let me know when you think you could make it. Be good to meet you too, Dave. I'd like to head down to Mtn Home and see the Buchanan LR Collection!

Thanks! Funny. I rolled the doors up and opened the windows and now my wife says it isn't too bad. She says it isn't as dark as she thought it was.

My daughter absolutely loves the tent.

I picked up a brand spanking new Autohome ladder from a fellow expo'er, and it works really well.

I haven't been able to find a new mattress cover, but I put on a pretty new queen size fitted sheet and it really spruces up the tent.

Somebody will be getting a nice tent for a really good price.

Hey, Eric, I still think this would look great on the roof of the LC!

I think it would look great on the LC too. The problem isn't me, it is my wife. She read your wife's review of the coffin and that killed it. She was already apprehensive because of the height. She gets up in the middle of the night 2-3 times due to a small bladder. So the idea of crawling out of a tent 7 feet in the air doesn't appeal to her. She thinks an Airstream would be a better way to go.
