Relentless Fab 05+ Front Plate Style Winch Bumper Review

Thought I would write a little review on the Relentless Fab bumper I received a couple weeks ago from Eric. First of all, Eric was excellent at catering to my needs. I wanted this bumper built a specific way and he was able to do it all.

Installation was pretty easy. There were a few mods that I had to do such as cut the factory tow ring and shave some of the upper original bumper support down (thin piece of metal) but other than that it was pretty straight forward.

This thing is built like a freakin tank and the welds look really good and straight. Factory skid still works as well. The color is matte black and I had it powder coated. Fog lights are $18 Walmart specials and I plan to replace the 55w H3 bulb with a 100W PIAA or something similar. Still need to mount my Hella 4000's to the center. I will post pics when I do so.

Overall I'm very pleased with the product and IMO I think it's the best looking (and built) 05+ bumper on the market today. Please contact Eric for all your fab needs. I believe he builds sliders and will soon have a rear bumper for 05+ models.

Looks good Wes. Always great to see what you're up to with the truck.

Saw it on the road the other day and thought about waving but knew you wouldn't recognize the Tundra.

I have been looking at all the bumpers for a few years. ARB looks nice, but I don't like the bulk of it. All Pro is sweet, but I agree with the "flimsy" comment. This "Relentless" one looks the bees knees though. I LOVE the way it flows into the fender flares (hate that part on the ARB). I might have to look into this one a bit more, and somehow convince the wife that I "NEED" it.... LOL!!!

Also, your link didn't work for me. Where you trying to link HERE ??

Wow. That bumper is a really nice piece of work. It just looks right.

Best looking bumper I have seen for the Gen2 Tacoma.

What is the weight?

Very good looking bumper. Reminds me of the All Pro, just not so flimsy looking.

No doubt, I installed the all pro bumper on my 06 - it was a good wind ferring and thats about it. This appears to be a real bumper.

that is an awesome looking bumper!!! Any plans for a 06-09 4runner bumper, just a few tweaks here and there is all you need! : Fingers crossed you'll say yes:

I'd love to branch into 4runner bumpers as well!!!
Actually my plan is to offer a full line of bumpers, front and rear, for all newer 4x4 Toyotas.
4th and 5th gen 4runners
1st and 2nd gen Tacomas, as well as the 86-95 pickups
1st and 2nd genTundras
etc.
Just starting my business though so I've got a ways to go :)

The sooner you can make something for the 1st Generation Tundras the better. Almost nothing out there aside from ARB.

looks really good!!

the only thing that concerns me is the gap betweel the bumper and fenders, when you get some flex the bumper for sure will be poking into the fenders unless there is at least a 1" gap

great fab work though!
