SMEV appliances from Europe?

Has anyone ordered SMEV appliances from Europe and had them shipped here to the US? I'm looking for a reputable company to buy a stove/sink combo from. I have tried to order from Worzels Lesiure out of the UK but they have been pretty bad about keeping up communication with me.

Thanks guys I'm going to contact those retailers. Yep - it's the 8800 series I'm after - tough item to get here in the states.

I'd like to know too if anyone finds a good source. I got a chance to see the sink and stove units Warfield Offroad had in their sample set up at OX11. Expensive, but I think one of there combo units would be perfect for myTtacoma/Flippac build.

I've got the 2 burner hob and round sink that I installed my current FWC, they are nice. Got them when they were more affordable/available a couple years ago. The 2 burner hobs are available state side again but I haven't seen any sinks/combo units.

I'll be making some calls soon myself I'd like to see about a 9222L combo unit for my build.

Current setup:

I agree, the 9222L is what I'm eyeing also. If I can't manage to source one of those, I think I'll just get a sink and stove like your current setup. Where did you get them?

Keep me in the loop on what you find and I'll do the same, if you don't mind. Perhaps getting a couple non-stock items to order might help make it worth someone's time.

I got mine back when aerycorp was selling them on ebay.

At this point it doesn't look like I will be able to find a company willing to ship an 8800 to the US.

They are not UL approved in the US, that's why companies won't ship those EU items to the US.

I carry a line of SMEV appliances, but only certain ones are approved.

SMEV knows that people trying to get non US approved items through those channels and I am pretty sure they put a stop to it.

I was browsing your website, but couldn't find a listing of accessories you carry, just the options available on the camper.

Will you sell appliances sans XPCamper? If so, can you provide a list of them and price estimates?

Also, the XPCamper has a foot operated sink faucet, I want to know more about that handy feature!

Thanks

If you want foot control of your water at the faucet just install a foot operated switch in the power line to your pump. A quick googling pulls up this trolling motor switch for $17: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...1_16071_225001000_225000000_225001000_225-1-0 But anything of that nature would be fine. Or rig your own off an momentary switch.

Another option is a shurflo faucet which has a switch/rheostat built into it such that when you open/close the faucet you turn the pump on/off but also it slows the pump down when you open the faucet less. They sell it as a pair with a small pump which would be recommended since they are rated for each other (other RV pumps might pull too many amps than the faucet is rated for). http://www.shurflo.com/rv-products/rv-accessories/rv-faucets/default.html
