    Hey I'm here in Colo and looking to pick up a 98 montero from Utah. How is your experience with the gen 2.5?

    They are great rigs on and off road. Just make sure they are up to date on maintenance. Are you buying the white one from Jeep-n-Montero? If so that it a good one. The 2.5's have a few issues with heater cores failing, exhaust manifolds cracking and exhaust valve stem seals failing. All of which are just due to age and not bad design. If you're close to Boulder lets link up

    The horns can also fail in cold weather and will constantly go off. Just pull the fuse if it happens and then take a day to do the repair.
