It's good to hear people discussing this -- I'm on the fence, the built-in awning on the Impi is pretty nice, but I could probably make one for the Columbus if I really wanted to, can't be that hard. The color of the Impi is also more appealing to me, as is the Hannibal Safari logo :D...

Is the Impi available for sale? Looked at the website, it just says "Item Not Available" ... but that looks like a good tent. I'm looking for the same thing -- either a medium Columbus Variant or that Impi. I'd love to find a used Columbus medium but I almost never see them up for sale...

Well, whatever -- no offense, but pretty much every salesman I've ever known could be a real ********. In any case, its nice to see some competition in the market, and $1k under some others. Hopefully it's a nice setup. All the extra awnings seem pointless, the two-man version looks good. Hell...

I just got a call back from these guys (finally) about the RTT they are developing. http://www.wildboarproducts.com/campertops.html From the call, it's 7' long, 58" wide, 9" tall in back and 7" tall in front. Opens to the side, I think the hinge is on the driver's side. About 90 lbs, going...

Cool, that's good to hear. The ability to sit up with my legs crossed is pretty key.

The website lists 36" as the 'open' height, can anyone tell me if this is outside or inside height? I think I know the answer, but is it possible to sit up in the Maggiolina? I'm 5'9", looking at a medium Maggiolina or Columbus.
