    On-board Air help!

@ Brian Wilson: Thanks for the feedback. I saw both those pdf files before I bought, however when looking at the cfm to psi chart on the second file, it notes 90 psi at 3cfm. So I toured my local hardware store and found an impact wrench that ran 90 psi at ~3cfm thinking perfect match! And when...

    On-board Air help!

BLUF: So let me start by saying I should have asked on the forum before I went out and spent money... :ugh: My intention: I wanted to have on-board air for immediate use on ARB air-lockers, to air tires, and to run air tools (for on trail repairs). What I did: I went out and bought the ARB...

Suspension setup for Expedition travel in a 2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited

Hey guys I have some considerable armor under my Jeep from rock crawling... however I would love to switch to aluminum over the steel plating I currently have to save some weight. Anyone know of a company that makes light weight strong aluminum armor? :ylsmoke:

Habitat/Flip pac style top for 2004-2006 Jeep Unlimited (LJ)

This is exactly what I was looking for Jeff! "If you build it, they will come!"... And I will be one of the first. Especially if you include the barn style double doors on the back. :sombrero:

How would you outfit this custom LJ?

Really wish I could get one of those jscherb modular hardtops.... GR8TOP's seems to be dragging their feet, and I am getting really impatient. The rear barn door drawings along with the modular top and potential for a RTT make it ideal for my storage needs and application for expeditionary...

Suspension setup for Expedition travel in a 2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited

Hey has anyone thought about buying those suspension seats that 18 wheeler trucks have. You know the ones that have suspension built in so the seat moves up and down as you go over the bumps? Don't know what they cost but it might be another solution instead of messing wih the suspension?

Suspension setup for Expedition travel in a 2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited

@Nwood Awesome setup!!!!! Just what I was thinking... I am even planning on doing a 1.25" body lift to incorporate the tummy tuck down the road. So how does it ride on the highway? Do you feel like you have a smooth ride, or is it still choppy due to the short wheelbase? I would imagine that...

Not stiff... I can feel the coils and shocks give alittle, however they do not provide a comfortable ride.

Thanks, I didn't think about the drive shaft angle... maybe this can be eliminated by installing a SYE?
