Since you are where you came from lets start with my dad. He is a retired teacher. He taught all subjects, grades 1-8. Science was his specialty. He had minor degrees in building houses, electronics, and auto mechanics.
He taught me small engine repair when I was 11 or 12. As a teenager I worked for a few years as a apprentice diesel mechanic(think semi trucks). Went back to college and worked on education, psychology, and social work degrees. Finally graduated with a BSN. Worked computer tech for a local plumbing company. IBM AS400 to PC stuff. Then I got the chance to install telecom equipment for Fujitsu. Graduated to install coordinator for MCI/Worldcom. Loved that fiber optic stuff but the dot com crash and corporate fraud caught up with those guys. So I left to work for myself expanding the business I helped my wife start a few years earlier.
Many many things. If its broke then it is high on my list.
