Not really, that was a 1st gen problem....if you bounce over to xterranation.org I bet some of the gen1 guys can be of help... From what I understand, a good chunk of the slop comes from a poorly designed steering system that they drastically improved on the 2nd gen...

Not sure if you've already done it, but, on 1st gens, find an Idler Arm Brace, it'll clean up most of the slop you were reporting in the early pages and ensure it doesn't come back...
