I have a question for the 5VZ-FE-knowledgeable folks here.
I'm swapping my factory air cleaner on my 1996 T100 out for a modified Sprinter unit that will move the assembly up by my passenger's firewall so I can use the stock location for my auxiliary battery.
It's running fine, but I just have...
I just want to say that as a front parts counter guy at a dealership, wheel locks are the bane of my existence.
Everybody loses them, and they all think that we can just magic up a replacement for them over the phone when in reality these things are randomly assigned to vehicles and we have to...
Not off-road or even Toyota-related, but some behind the scenes of my first attempt at shooting: proper paint on the cheap with my wife's commuter acting as a victim.
Things are happening.
I'm definitely a fan of the bang-for-the-buck aspect when making cocktails for backpacking: my rule of thumb is that it has to be worth carrying on your back.
As my Backpacking Cocktails series progresses, I've got a few mad science tricks up my sleeve to try and replicate more classics like...

Unfortunately, I tend to by my own works critic and it can be pretty debilitating. This kind of positive feedback is the encouragement I needed.
As of this weekend, I've created an intro clip to get everything launched.
Baby steps.
Thanks!
It's been an interesting year, and boy do I have some more to add to the history of this truck, I'm working on a video of it right now.
But presently, I have a pretty major life-changing modification in the works:
Exactly! I'd been stuck in that self-gatekeeping mindset for years until I just started taking my little 2WD T100 out and enjoying it. So what if I didn't have the fancy RTT? I have a $300 camper shell and a sleeping bag. My backpacking stove heats up chow just fine and my come-along winch gets...
