Got it all finished up. Nice difference with A: New shocks , and B: Bilstein 5100 series. After a couple of test drives on bumpy Houston streets and the freeway, it definitely rides much better now. The old shocks looked to be the original ones.

Almost have the HID projectors aimed in fully. Need to turn them in the housing one more time and readjust. Always tedious but worth the effort IMO. Not too shabby for 35W ballasts. She’s out back for the surgery for a bit now lol.

Had a rear tire with a super slow leak. Took a couple of weeks to confirm it, this was probably pulling my mileage down a smidge.

That body style looks way better IMO than the newer ones 2000-2006. GM uses 14 bolt axles (full float) on 2500 models. If it has one, it's either a factory 2500 or it's had a rear axle swap.

And then...fast forward about 1.5 years of life getting in the way a lot, and we are here... At this point a lot still needs to be done. The intention is to make this thing totally driveable to most anywhere and very wheelable too, while later on building a nice overland style trailer for it...

On topic I think those those Dynatracs are the stuff, they don't do half-baked.
