Gen Xer - Sick of the "End of The World" message - My entire childhood was spent daydreaming about and preparing for the "End Times" and the post-apocalypse. I like gear, vehicles and weaponry so this site will be fun for me. I get the "expect the best but prepare for the worst" philosophy. My interests are in exploration and Search & Rescue for the Mohave County Sherriff's Department. I’d like to meet more overland enthusiasts and develop self-sufficiency, for self-sufficiency sake. To improve my experiences while traveling and camping in what I call, the Way Back (Not the Outback) here in my area and beyond. I plan on exploring even more as my son grows up and learns to be my navigator.
