So we made it to Beef Basin a couple weeks ago. (see above for when we attempted in winter and got shut down by snowy roads) It was our 25th wedding anniversary (on the Solstice), so we did this trip sans 'kids'. Really interesting and remote area. ~100 mi from Moab, with ~45+mi of mild off...
