Thanks for the insight, Howard. Though not an EC owner, I’ve long admired them and almost pulled the trigger a couple times — to the point that my wife and I made a trip to Bend to check them out. I am a business owner and understand the trials of keeping an enterprise running and relevant. Sad.
Thank you for the reply and pictures. It seems the ideal setup to me; fairly low profile when driving or parking in a garage and then near instant extra space and headroom or sleep space. Do you still have the rig?
Farfrumwork, I'm very intregued by your low topped Sprinter with a pop-top. I've searched a bit for other images of your van and found one with the top up. is the point of the pop top to add headspace or just for sleeping space? Where/who did the work? Thanks.

Erik, I loved the video, mostly your enthusiasm, drive for excellence and genuine spirit. You made a fantastic rig for temperate/warm climates -- how do you suppose this would perform in the cold and snow? Is the plumbing able to manage sub-freezing without significant modification? Joe
