I hadn't heard of it, but will definitely take a look, thanks! Still up in the air of what the actual issue was. Thankfully it has only happened that one time, and I haven't experienced any sort of issues since then.

    Gear41's Gen 3 Montero Build

Thought I'd post an update of my first camping trip of the year from last weekend. Was a great time exploring a bunch of of Forest Service Roads, getting stick in a mud pit, and cooking some good food. Climbed up a small hill with some beautiful views of snowcapped Rockies. Views from the...

    Gear41's Gen 3 Montero Build

Thanks, Rod! Thanks, and I'll try and snap a few photos of where the rack connects to the roof when I get home tonight. Basically, what they did to install was remove the factory rails and then install a track system that sits flush in the gutter on the roof. Here's a link to the track system...

    Gear41's Gen 3 Montero Build

I've been meaning to post a build thread for a while now, so here goes. Some Background: I bought the 2004 Montero last October with 81,000 miles on it. I immediately had the timing belt and water pump done, along with flushing & replacing all fluids. Drove it around off-roading and camping...
