    Im also looking at a '00. Looks pretty decent minus some dings n scrapes in the bumper. From what I could tell in the pics, it doesnt have a e-locker. I dont see a hint of orange on the button.

    How is offroading an auto? Does having a stick benefit more for getting out of sticky spots? There are some pretty decent deals I have skipped because of automatic.

    I towed a 5x8(10?) with a '13 sonic turbo from Seattle to OKC once. Pretty sure that car was not rated to tow anything but it worked.

    Can I tow a uhaul trailer with a 1st gen taco? Like a 8x12? Thats probably too big but still.. inb4 dont tow huge loads safety blah blah blah. I know all this already but not what the taco can do.

    Seeing a mention of post EMP... Is there a recommended carb and distributor to swap a 3.4 over to the old way of getting around? Or should I just keep collecting bug parts?

    What is Toyotas oem brand? Like with GM they have AC Delco and Ford has failure Motorcraft, and so on.

    for the 89-04 trucks, is a standard more desirable than an automatic in performance and economy or is it still a personal preference?

    The major think thats sticks out to me about these is parts availability across the world. Nothing lasts forever, nothing is perfect. I expect repairs to come my way. Hell, Ive been tempted to do all this in a baja bug!
