Receiver hitches New bumper came in today with front receiver already inplace, just bolt it up. The bumper I ordered is an Olympic 4x4 rock series for my tj, I have one in the back and like it. I'll report when done and backed in my military trailer. Total cost 196.00

Received my ham call sign CA lic. plate the other day. Directly below the call sign in small red letters is "dmv.ca.gov" Kinda looks like a gov't plate on a Jeep?

My visit to Vietnam I was tired of no shower. I took a 3 lb. coffee and put a wire in the open top to hang it. I hammered nail holes in the bottom of the can untill I had enough warm water to soap up and rinse off. Simple and effective, if you wanted a 2 gal shower, you just filled it up again.

Wood and Metal I think I remember a while back about some exotic sports cars making their frame rails from laminated woods still today, just the oppisite of everthing else.

It all depends on where your at and what your doing. Lets knot forget the Titatic for example, a lot of wood and a lot of metal, but was no match for that big chunk of ice.

I am not a backpacker nor do I want to be. I have plenty of room and just want to be warm and confy. Purchased a Coleman Big Game sleeping bag, which is more like a bed role. It's oversized and weighs 6 lbs and is rated for -5 degrees. Less than $100. I think it"s a great bag.

Nice job, I choose to attached my rear stablizers also to the trailer. If I attach a ubolt or weld some bracket directly under the receiver hitch for a ratchet to attach to, the levelers may be operated indepently for leveling the trailer with out the need for blocks. The trailer is farely...

fridges I decided not to mess with the fridges, after three days or so, I'm ready for a motel and hot shower. The gen. will mostly run my radio equip. and possibly a breathing machine, so quiet is a main concern and how long a tank of gas will last is the next. The 1000watt should work out...

Water system Retiring from a water district, I would have to agee with the above, don't forget the visit to the doctor's office too. I think I would just stock up on water at wallymart every chance I got, I think one gallon aday is the norm. Good Luck on your design.
