LR3 Air to Coil conversion.....one year later.

I bought the AB +2” HD kit. Was great, took me maybe 12-14 hours to install in my garage with no help. If I did it again it would be alot less. I have the red error light, but who cares? I wasn’t willing to cut into the wires under the dash and add harness just to get rid of all codes. That...

    2008 Land Rover LR3 on 35"s - Refurbish/Rebuild Thread

I’ve removed the fault using the gap tool. There is a difference between a “jam” and something broken. Gap tool is supposed to reset the parking brake to help unjam it. It runs a noisy unjamming/ reset procedure. Looks like you have to get the codes to find out if you can correct this.

    LR4 fridge placement

Here’s my setup. I removed 3rd row seats, created a platform bolted into stock anchor points and built off that platform. I think I used my 3rd row once when my kids (2) thought is was cool to have their own row. That did not last long

    LR3 Compressor Issue Validation

Yes on inexpensive compressor, knock off. However, I’m getting the same exact error codes as with old compressor so I’m not necessarily convinced another $200 (ha ha on me, $400) solves my problem. Truck has 150k and on original height sensors, air springs and shocks so all in all, not awful.

    LR3 Compressor Issue Validation

Another Update: - removed air in,etc and Arne Compressor, still got the C1A13 - removed the pressure sensor, cleaned and re-installed, wasn’t encouraged by the one either Then proceeded to watch stats on gap tool, as long as I did not try to raise suspension, the compressor would cycle. -...

    LR3 Compressor Issue Validation

Update: So center valve block is ruled out, I removed and cleaned out. Actually, they was a lot of residue inside the 2 pieces. Despite this, zero change. More info, possibly helpful. The gallery pressure cannot get to 259psi before the unit goes well over 250F and hits the thermal protection...

    LR3 Compressor Issue Validation

I'm familiar with that one but I've had no issues lowering overnight. Sometimes it fails after 5 minutes on road and sometimes fails less than 10 seconds after I start the car.

    LR3 Compressor Issue Validation

So I was getting the dreaded C1A13 Pressure does not decrease when venting error. As I had already killed on compressor I simply replaced with same to make it ways as sometime soon I will go to springs. So I swapped Dunlop with an inexpensive one and was getting same errors - ZERO change. I...

LR3/LR4 Peeps, need roof rack advice/insight

Definitely. As a daily driver, I liked it was at least somewhat low profile. Again, must get wind faring.

LR3/LR4 Peeps, need roof rack advice/insight

I love my Front Runner Slimline II Rack. You must buy the wind faring or the sunroof noise will be loud. If you’re doing roof top tent, just take look at remaining space as FR Rack is expensive. I have a ton of accessories and you should look into how awning combos will/ will not work/ integrate...

    Diagnostic software question, LR3

Gap x 2 million ... spend the extra $100 and get the blue tooth version. It has saved me countless times.

    Full length rack noise

There were enough positive comments from LR3 owners that I know frequent the site that I got mine .. it just came today and I was not home 10 minutes before lying down on my roof rack inside the garage to mount it up. Actually doing from inside the vehicle with a helper on the outside is the...

    O2 Sensor Help

Suggestion I read on O2 sensors if you go that route .... get best ones. X2 on ABritish. I get most stuff there. If you get MAF, make sure you get Denso MAF, not some knock off that says it fits. Those parts are super critical for performance, don’t skimp.
